About
Rekah is a band, a collective, an affinity group, a celebration of chaos and feelings. Their music is an amalgamation of everything loud and obscene: a little bit of post-hardcore, a tiny bit of black metal, sprinkled with a good measure of some prog, shoegaze, and jazz.
What a mess, huh?
Mess is good. They like mess. It reminds them of Jakarta: the traffic, the shouting, the rain, the gutter, the bodies. It seeps into their music and bleeds into their lyrics.
Now, what does that say about them? I don't know, you tell me.
